“Pathways to Engaging”

“No act of kindness no matter no how small is ever wasted” (Aesop)

Growing up and waking up has to be balanced with Joining up if we are to move from an isolated identity of “me and mine” to the fullest and, most mature identity which is “all of us and all of ours”. Today especially, given the enormous challenges we face at a global level it is critical that we can open our hearts to recognise our interdependence and the preciousness of the life we share…… and to act with kindness and generosity wherever we can.

Our Community Work
If you would like to join the work of Nuhra Community Inc. as a volunteer there are currently 3 options that we would welcome enquiries with.

• The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme – a Federally funded programme for residents in aged care.

• Supporting the work of Ausudan Inc. to build a school in Sindiru Village S. Sudan

We are also open to networking with other individuals or groups who are involved with community or environmental work although we have limited resources.

  “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful,
committed citizens can change the world;
indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”

(Margaret Mead)
